King Charles’s Medical Team Apparently Worried About The King’s Health Following His Royal Tour

King Charles and Camilla concluded their royal tour of Australia and Samoa. Now, his medical team is worried about his well-being because he took a pause on his routine cancer treatments to go on tour. Even though this was all ok’d by his medical team before he left.

Despite traveling with two doctors, a new report highlights serious concerns about Charles’s health. There is uncertainty about the impact that missing his scheduled treatments may have had on his body.

According to Daily Mail, “there’s concern among the King’s medical team after an anonymous palace briefing that he will be returning to a full programme of overseas tours in 2025. Having skipped his cancer treatment regime to make the latest tour – and with no one certain how his body has coped – it was planned that he would take time off on his return, allowing him to recover and for doctors to carry out a full assessment of his wellbeing.”

Several sources report that Charles will be taking a break now that he’s back home, allowing his medical team to conduct a thorough assessment before he returns to any public duties.

According to The BBC, the King was known to strongly believe in a holistic approach—nurturing “mind, body, and soul”—and his recent trip is said to have positively benefited all three.

“He has genuinely loved this tour. He has genuinely thrived on the programme. It’s lifted his spirits, his mood and his recovery. In that sense, the tour – despite its demands – has been the perfect tonic,” said the palace official to The BBC

Per his doctors’ advice, he opted to exclude the more strenuous journey to New Zealand. His Royal Highness seemed to do well with his busy itinerary, many meetings, greetings and engagements including some controversies.
