Husband reveals final text from wife minutes before American Airlines crash

A tragic crash occurred near Washington, D.C. when an American Airlines plane collided with a U.S. Army helicopter as it neared Ronald Reagan National Airport.

The crash sent both aircraft into the Potomac River. The plane had 60 passengers and 4 crew members, while the helicopter carried 3 soldiers,

Hamaad Raza, whose wife was on the plane, revealed her final text saying they would land in 20 minutes before the messages stopped. Rescue efforts are ongoing with 300 responders searching the river.

American Airlines and officials are focused on recovery, while President Trump expressed condolences and support for first responders. The cause is under investigation.
