Miranda Lambert Stops Another Concert and Finally Responds to the ‘Selfie Backlash’

Miranda Lambert recently sparked controversy during one of her Las Vegas residency performances. While singing “Tin Man,” she noticed a fan taking a selfie and abruptly stopped her performance to call her out in front of the entire audience.

Lambert expressed her frustration, saying, “I’m a little annoyed that these females are preoccupied with their selfie and aren’t listening to the song.” She urged the fan to enjoy the music instead of taking pictures.

After the incident, Lambert continued the show and later commented on a fan’s t-shirt that read “Shoot tequila, not selfies,” which she found amusing. While some fans supported her actions, others criticized Lambert for publicly embarrassing the fan.

One of the fans, Adela Calin, who was called out, defended herself, stating that she only took the picture for about 30 seconds before returning to her seat. She felt humiliated and compared the experience to being scolded by a teacher. Despite the backlash, Lambert showed no regrets about her actions.
