Trump Slams Israel and Iran After Ceasefire Falls Apart

Just hours after announcing a ceasefire between Israel and Iran on June 23, former President Donald Trump lashed out at both countries for violating the truce. In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump declared that both nations had agreed to a “Complete and Total CEASEFIRE” that would begin after they finished their final military operations.

Trump claimed the war would officially end within 24 hours and called it a major success in preventing a longer and more devastating conflict. However, the ceasefire quickly unraveled. Iranian and Israeli media reported fresh Israeli airstrikes near Tehran, including a hit on a radar facility.

Explosions were heard around the Iranian capital. Trump expressed frustration, particularly with Israel, saying:

“They don’t know what the f*** they’re doing.”
“I told them they had 12 hours — instead they dropped the biggest load of bombs I’ve ever seen.”

In other Truth Social posts, Trump urged Israel to stop the attacks and “take your pilots home.” He emphasized that both sides had broken the deal, but he was especially critical of Israel’s aggressive actions after the ceasefire was announced.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House before departing for a NATO summit in The Hague, Trump said he was “not happy” with either side, and warned that the situation could escalate further unless both countries stepped back.
