Brian often mocked his younger sister, Linda, belittling her academic pursuits and kindhearted nature. So when their grandmother, Marlene, passed away and left him her house while gifting Linda only five rusty old clocks, Brian couldn’t help but gloat. After the funeral, Linda and Brian were called to the lawyer’s office for the reading of the will. As expected, Brian was ecstatic to learn that he had inherited Marlene’s house, boasting about his newfound fortune. Linda, despite her recent efforts to restore the home, accepted the decision without complaint.
