My husband tried to kick me

“I don’t think I need to remind you, but this house belongs to my grandfather, and you have no claim to it. You’re out. Get your stuff and leave. Now.” I tried to keep my face blank, holding back the sting of it all. I started gathering my things and loading them into my car. Just as I was about to grab the last box, a black SUV pulled up, and suddenly, the smirk vanished from my husband’s face.

My marriage with Logan wasn’t the perfect one, and the struggle to conceive only added to the hardship, but he reached the lowest bottom when he kicked me out of the house in order to bring his mistress in.

Logan and I married young. Our relationship seemed picture perfect, but over time, he started spending more time outside than home. His gym became his favorite place. Every day, he would come home later than the previous.

The thought of not being able to fall pregnant with his child convinced me that I was the reason for his behavior. I started doubting my qualities and felt like a faint image of the woman I once was.

One night, Logan told me he would be staying late at the gym so I accepted my friend’s invitation to hang out at the local pub.

The night was perfect for getting away from my daily routine and the stress I felt. My friend made me laugh, and we had a wonderful time, until her face changed. Whispering to my ear, she told me to turn around because she thought the man behind us was Logan.

At first, I didn’t know if I should confront him, but at that point, I felt like I had nothing to lose.

When I approached him, instead of feeling panicked, Logan was relieved. Looking me straight in the eyes, he said it was about time I learned there was another woman. He didn’t feel any regret.

His mistress laughed at my face.

I spent the night at my friend’s place, and in the morning I headed home hoping Logan came to his senses.

However, instead of an apology, I saw all of my belongings on the front porch. Logan and his mistress looked at me as though they won a battle. He reminded me that the house belonged to his grandfather and I didn’t have the right to be there any longer. He ten entered the house, slamming the door behind him.

His mistress, however, stayed at the porch, telling me she would redecorate the house because my taste was horrendous.

Although I felt like my world collapsed, I wouldn’t let that woman knew I felt defeated.

At that moment, a familiar voice called my name. It was Logan’s grandpa. He was furious when he learned his grandson threw me out of the house.

Logan’s mistress rushed inside the house, calling Logan. When he got out, his grandpa, who was a very wealthy and very influential man, told him he was disgrace to the family. He said he would cut all ties with him and would stop financing his lifestyle.

As of the house, he left it to me.
