Sally Field Reveals Her Worst On-Screen Kiss

Legendary actress Sally Field, 76, recently shared in an interview on Watch What Happens Live that her worst on-screen kiss was with her former boyfriend and co-star Burt Reynolds. Laughing at first, she admitted it “wasn’t something he really did well,” adding that there was “a lot of drooling” during their scenes together in Smokey and the Bandit.

Field and Reynolds dated for about five years after meeting on set in 1977. Though Reynolds later expressed regret over their relationship, Field explained in a 2023 interview that she had not spoken to him for the last 30 years of his life, saying, “He was not someone I could be around… He was just not good for me.”
