Trump Was Right About Everything

Former Congresswoman and current Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard claims that a number of whistleblowers have begun coming forward in response to newly released documents and a memo she made public last week. According to Gabbard, the materials point to an organized effort by former Obama administration officials to undermine Donald Trump following his 2016 election victory.

In an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Gabbard described the revelations as evidence of what she called a “years-long coup attempt” launched after Trump defeated then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

New Testimonies Emerging
“These documents have led to whistleblowers within the intelligence community stepping forward,” Gabbard said. “They were there. They saw what happened. And many of them were sickened by it.”

According to Gabbard, those coming forward believe justice has not yet been served for what she characterized as “a treasonous conspiracy”. She emphasized that her office plans to hand over all evidence and testimony to the Department of Justice.

Calls for Accountability
Gabbard made it clear that she expects legal consequences to follow the revelations.

“There must be indictments,” she said. “It doesn’t matter how powerful the individuals were, or what positions they held. If they were part of an effort to subvert the will of the American people, they must be held accountable.”

Context: Durham Probe and Clinesmith Case
The discussion comes amid renewed attention on the investigation led by Special Counsel John Durham, who was appointed to examine the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe.

In 2020, former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty to altering an email used in the FISA application process to surveil former Trump campaign aide Carter Page. Clinesmith was later sentenced to probation and 400 hours of community service.

Although the sentencing was seen by critics as lenient, the case highlighted serious concerns about how surveillance tools were used during the FBI’s 2016 investigation.

Looking Ahead
Gabbard has said her team will continue reviewing documents and speaking with additional insiders who may be willing to come forward. For now, her office is preparing to submit all relevant information to the DOJ as pressure builds for further investigations and possible prosecutions.

Neither the Obama Foundation nor former administration officials have publicly responded to the claims at the time of this writing.
